Hi, Jason!
A spring visit to Walt Disney World sounds pretty nice as we are in the cold winter months right now...I could sure use some magical Florida sunshine! May is a wonderful time to visit
EPCOT while everything is in bloom at the
International Flower & Garden Festival. Enjoy blooming gardens, savory delights at the festival food kiosks, and my favorite: the Garden Rocks Concert Series with some of super fun musical acts!
While the All-Star Resorts are not blocked out, availability may vary. I would
get in touch with a friendly Cast Member who can check to see if an additional night would be able to be added to your current reservation.
If you are unable to secure the extra night, you have a few options. First, keep checking as guests' plans are constantly changing so something might become available. Another option is to check for another resort.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort has fantastic Family Suites that might work for your travel party. A final option would be to keep your current reservation, but book that additional night at an alternate resort. You would need to check out of your first room, then have your luggage moved by
bell services to your All-Star resort. This might actually be a fun option and a great way to experience 2 resorts during your magical Walt Disney World vacation. It is like two vacations in one!
With your fun party of 5, you may want to look into purchasing
Memory Maker. This will allow you to get photos of your entire party taken by photographers located all around the parks. You will be able to download all your magical photos to share with friends, on social media, or even just capture that perfect family photo!
I hope you and your travel buddies are having fun planning for your upcoming trip. Don't forget to make your
Dining Reservations when you hit your 60-day mark. My family never misses a chance to book a reservation at Via Napoli in EPCOT (best pizza!) or at
Chef Mickey's in
Disney's Contemporary Resort where Mickey and his pals will stop by your table while the monorail zooms by overhead. Only in Walt Disney World!
Wishing you all the best that you find the perfect way to add on an additional night to your magical vacation.
Cathy
