Is the all-star music resort a good resort? any other suggestions?

    Becca:

What makes the All-Star Music Resort a "good resort" is its family suites.  These accommodations are essentially two standard rooms that have been opened up to create a suite atmosphere with a separate bedroom, two bathrooms, a mini fridge and microwave along with a living room that includes a sleeper sofa and a chair and ottoman that transform into comfortable twin cots.  They can sleep 6 and offer affordable lodging for larger families.

You didn't mention the make up of your family, and every family comes in different sizes and shapes.  If you didn't need the family suite, I would recommend looking at some of the other value resorts if theming is important.  If you have children, the All-Star Movies with their stories-tall figures of movie icons like Buzz Lightyear and Herbie still amaze me or All-Star Sports for families of teens.  Staying in the Value resorts, you may also want to consider Pop Century if you would like a little bit more scenery with its lake.  You can also request a room in the 50's or 90's building that may give you a glimpse of some of Epcot's Illuminations fireworks.

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
