Are we allowed to wear water shoes on the rides at the water parks? If yes, are we allowed to wear them on all of the rides or just some of them? Will there be signs for each ride telling us what we can bring/wear? (e.g. life vests, water shoes, camera)

    Hi Elizabeth!

Yes, you are permitted to wear water shoes on most of the the rides at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.  On the very high slides like Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach, you will have to hold your water shoes in your hands while your are on the ride.  Typically, the lifeguards (cast members) will inform you as to what you can and cannot bring on the water rides.  I definitely would recommend wearing water shoes when you are at the water parks even on the rides to protect your feet because the pavement gets very warm and the surface on the bottom of the water rides can be very rough on your feet.

I hope that you have an amazing time splishing and splashing at the Water Parks in Walt Disney World on your next vacation!
