Welcome, (not so) Foolish Mortal! Jennifer, I love that you will
be headed to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween on Halloween!
I'm glad you
crypt by planDisney with this question to make sure you are not
left hanging with your costume planning. Being able to dress as my favorite character is so much fun! I joined this spirited soirée a few weeks ago with several of my planDisney friends. We let our mischievous sides out and went as our favorite villains. My adoration of the Scarlet Witch earned me props from the Evil Queen in Princess Fairytale Hall for my seemingly good-natured tendency to play on the dark side. The Queen gets me.
Kids ages 14 and under can wear masks (as long as they are safe), but adults cannot. However, there are no rules that prohibit face painting. I would look at the rest of the
dress code policies to see if your idea for a grim, grinning costume will make it through security. As masks are not allowed, your face paint should not obstruct your identity. Security and Cast Members should still be able to see your features and recognize you under the façade.
While I can share the rules and my opinions, the decisions about what is allowed
rest in peace with the Cast Members at the party. They are working to ensure a safe and good-spirited event for all Guests.
You will have one of the last sightings of the Headless Horseman this year! This haunting spectacle captivates me. I will also miss
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. I love it all, but the grave diggers are my favorite. And that song lives in my head the entire month of October! Boo to you and you and you and you and you and you! Happy Halloween!
Jennifer, I hope this helps, and you are ready to
creep it real on Halloween! If you have any other questions rattling around in your skull, please drag your corpse back to
planDisney. We're dying to help!
Boo To You!
