Are we allowed to take in water bottles and snacks?

    Hello, Kimberly,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney, and it looks like your trip to Walt Disney World is just days away!  How incredibly exciting for you!  You'll be able to enjoy the final days of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary as well as the opening days of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I think your timing is nearly perfect!

You are welcome to bring your own snacks and water bottles with you when you visit the theme parks and water parks.  Please note, however, that glass containers (aside from baby food containers), plastic straws, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. If you'd like, you may bring a cooler with you. The cooler cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high; reusable ice packs work best since loose ice and dry ice are not allowed. There are locker rentals at the theme parks and water parks if you'd like to store a cooler there.

All of the theme parks have water bottle refill stations if you'd like to use them.  You can also stop by any quick-service restaurant and ask for a free cup of ice water to refill your water bottles. If you are staying at a Disney resort, they have either in-room refrigerators or beverage coolers that you could use if you'd like to have cooler cups of water available to bring with you.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
