Am i allowed to take my walker into the theme parks?

Hey Howdy Hey Ralph and welcome to planDisney!

The best part about a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is how inclusive the whole resort is for everyone. Being able to experience the park with a multi-generational trip where my three-year-old daughter went on the same attraction as my 80-year-old grandmother was priceless. Of course, all four Theme Parks required quite a bit of walking which Disney does acknowledge and is fully willing to allow for assistive devices and other modes of mobility, such as electric conveyance vehicles, to navigate the parks.

If you are asking about your walker, Hakuna Matata my friend, you will totally be able to bring your walker to the parks! I also wanted you to know about Disability Access Services available while in Disney Parks. Guests with mobility difficulties or just difficulty standing for long periods of time, think like an hour or so for attractions, have the option for applying for this benefit. This pass will allow you and your party to reserve your spot in line while you wait in a more convenient location to minimize the time you would be standing in the line. You can set up this pass before you get to the parks as well as utilize it through your My Disney Experience app. Super convenient right? Disney has also made a list of the attractions in each park with options for boarding and departing the ride vehicles on the attractions to better help you plan out your day.

I hope this information is helpful and I hope you have a fantastic time planning and enjoying your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Happy planning,

    Nick
