Hi there, Nichole. Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to chit-chat about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
You are more than welcome to visit different
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels other than the particular one you are staying at during your vacation. In fact, this is one of my favorite things to do. All of the resorts offer something different so it's fun to go and check the other ones out. A few things to note about this though. There is no direct bus transportation from resort to resort so you'll need to head to a
Walt Disney World Theme Park and then switch bus lines to the resort hotel that you want to visit. In addition to that, there is no pool hopping. The pools at resorts are intended for those Guests staying at that particular resort only. Other than that, you are free to enjoy the restaurants, bars and lounges.
One of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels to visit is Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. In fact, just last week when I was at Walt Disney World, I hung out there every evening. My go-to spot is the
Tambu Lounge which is upstairs right outside of the restaurant 'Ohana. They serve sips and snacks and the bar has a view of the fireworks over Magic Kingdom Park at night. Another spot that I like to hang out at is
Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney's Wildnerness Lodge. They have super comfy couches right on the lake and it's such a peaceful spot when I need a break. Not to mention their BBQ Brisket Chips are delicious!
I hope this helps you plan out your itinerary a little bit better. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please don't hesitate to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
