Are you allowed to take any snacks to the parks?

    Hi Marion!

I'm so excited to see you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days! I'm sure you must be thrilled to start the new year in such a magical way!

Great news! You can bring snacks into the theme parks and water parks. As you are planning your snacks, I want to point out a couple bits of information as detailed in the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. To begin, keep in mind that, "all persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks at the Park entrances and also within the Parks." You might consider putting snacks in clear plastic bags within the bags you take into the theme parks as it will be easier to view when your bags are being screened. Also, prohibited items include glass containers and loose ice. If needed, ice packs or bagged ice is recommended to keep snacks cool.

My family typically has a small snack with us when we travel to the theme parks. However, I also encourage you to enjoy any of the numerous tasty treats you will find throughout Walt Disney World Resort. There really is nothing more magical than eating cotton candy while sitting on Main Street, U.S.A. and waiting for a parade to go by. So many wonderful memories to be made! Enjoy every magical moment of your vacation!
