Hello Arthur!
A very warm welcome to planDisney!
While I love a good cookout as much as the next person, unfortunately, there is no tailgating or cooking allowed in the
Disneyland Resort Parking Lots. A propane grill falls into the category of camping equipment which is on
the list of prohibited items.
There are gas grills available on the ground floor of
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. But, these are only available to Guests of The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. However, you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages with you into the theme parks. As long as your items are not in glass containers and you do not have any alcoholic beverages, you are good to go! May I suggest packing some sandwiches, fruit, snacks, and sodas to bring with you? Feel free to head to the
Picnic Area located just outside the Main Entrance to
Disneyland Park! There, you'll find tables and shade umbrellas perfectly suited for dining alfresco! Plus, the location is adjacent to a set of lockers, ideal for storing your food and utensils.
If you are planning to bring a cooler, please be sure it does not exceed 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high (61cm x 38cm x 46cm) and does not have wheels. Lastly, please be aware that loose ice is not permitted. I suggest bringing reusable ice packs to keep your food and beverages cool all day!
Happy planning! Please come back to planDisney if we can provide additional assistance.
