are I allowed to 'share' a meal with my husband? And is it possible to 'upgrade' our dining plan when we arrive at the park?

    Hi Ruth,

Thank you for stopping by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A vacation in December sounds wonderful, and just in time to celebrate the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.

My family loves the Dining Plans since we can leave home any worries about meal budgets. Instead, we can prepay our meals by adding this option to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. Even though my kids are older, they do love their Snacks, and at times they may have had a few too many before dinnertime. If they are not too hungry, we sometimes order an appetizer as a meal and pay for it out of pocket, instead of using a meal credit. Many Guests also share their meals; however, this will not be an option at restaurants that offers a buffet service.

One last tip: you can make changes to your vacation package up to three days before Check-In. Note that you may be subject to fees if done within 30 days. Happy planning!
