Am i allowed to request only getting one bed as opposed to two during online check in?

    Hi Trinity,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There is an unbelievable number of different room types available across Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. It can be difficult to choose which type of room to reserve and which type of room to request. You can check-in online 60 days before your vacation begins. There is a field for requests, but those requests have different options depending on which Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you have chosen and they do not include bed type. Without knowing which resort you have chosen, my best recommendation is to call and have your room preference added to your reservation.

Just for your information before you call, all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have rooms with one king-sized bed. However, some of these rooms are by request only and others are a category you can book. At Value Resort Hotels and Deluxe Resort Hotels, king-sized beds are by request only. If you are staying at a Value or Deluxe Resort Hotel, you can absolutely request a king-sized bed during online check-in. At Moderate Resort Hotels and Deluxe Villas, rooms with king-sized beds are a category you can book.
If you aren't worried about having a king-sized bed and you simply want only one bed, I recommend a room at Disney's Pop Century Resort, a room at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, or a studio at one of the Deluxe Villa Resorts. All of these rooms have one queen bed and one fold-down or fold-out queen bed. If there are two people or less staying in the room it's easy to keep the folding bed closed. During a recent stay, I was honestly surprised by how spacious the rooms feel.

Trinity, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
