Are you allowed to put a tent up if you are staying in the cabins at fort wilderness? The kids want to “camp” but we prefer the luxuries of the cabin. Thanks!

Howdy Jennifer and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You and your posse are sure to have a great time "roughing it" at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Fantastic dining, great entertainment, and natural beauty combine to make this a great choice while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, tents are not allowed at The Cabins at "The Fort." To use a tent you would need to secure one of the Campsites at Disneys' Fort Wilderness Resort.

Anne's Tip:  No Matter where we stay while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort we have a tradition of picking up a Fried Chicken 8-Piece Meal from P & J's Southern Takeout located near Trail's End Restaurant. You can pick it up and take it back to your cabin or grab a nearby picnic table and have a hearty al fresco cowboy meal!

If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
