Am I allowed to purchase Genie + and book my first LL & individual LL at 7AM (since I am staying at a Disney hotel) before I physically arrive at Disney World, on the day of use? I am traveling from NY to Orlando, and would arrive in Orlando at 10am.

Hi there, Christie! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’ll be using the magic of Disney Genie+ to have shortened wait times for rides and other attractions! Great choice! And, you didn’t even need to rub a lamp to make it all possible!

It also sounds like you’ve done your research! You are correct that Guests are allowed to book their first Lightning Lane reservation through Disney Genie+ beginning at 7:00 AM on the day that you’ll be visiting the park! Make sure that you have made your Disney Park Pass reservation for the park(s) you’ll be visiting. You don’t have to physically be on Walt Disney World Resort property to make your selection. Additionally, you can make your first individual Lightning Lane purchase at 7:00 AM as well!

Christie, remember you can manage all your Disney Genie+ selections, and make modifications (if necessary) on your My Disney Experience mobile app! Yep! It’s just that simple!

    Happy Planning!
