Are you still allowed in the park on the nights of Mickey's very merry Christmas party with park ticket admission but not party tickets? We are still debating if we want to attend the Christmas party this year. We will be there Nov 14-20th this year.

Hi Travis!  On the nights of the Disney special events parties such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom, guests will indeed need to purchase those party tickets separately from the day ticket to the park.  They will require you to show this ticket to receive a wristband which would allow you on attractions and to roam the park. Without this you will be escorted to the entrance. Day guests will not be allowed to remain in the park once the party starts.

My family loves these extra parties as the lines for the attractions are much shorter then during a normal day and the entertainment including the parades and fireworks are special just for that party so you cannot see them at any other time.  I love the parade with my favorite being the marching toy soldiers...I am amazed how they can march! Of course I also love the cookie and hot cocoa stops and the snow along Main Street. For me it is a great way to start a holiday season off and get into the cheery spirit.
