Am I allowed to take my own stroller!? What are the stroller guidelines?

Hi there, Krystel, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own stroller into the Disneyland Resort, so long as it fits within the stroller size guidelines. According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, strollers can’t exceed 31” in width x 52” in length. The good news is that most single and double strollers still fit within these guidelines! I’m so glad you’re checking out the stroller guidelines ahead of time, so you can measure for yourself and avoid any issues while passing through Security. Disney Parks has also updated the Resort Rules to reflect that stroller wagons are not permitted inside the parks. Here’s a helpful post from the Disney Parks Blog to summarize the latest rules and regulations to help you know before you go!

If you find that your stroller doesn’t meet the parameters listed above, you can go ahead and rent a stroller from the Disneyland Resort upon arrival. Stroller rentals are available just outside of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, adjacent to the Kennel. There, you can rent single, jogging-style strollers, and double tandem strollers on a daily basis. Just keep in mind that these strollers are only for use inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

If you prefer to rent a stroller for your entire visit, I recommend contacting City Stroller Rentals, a local vendor of the Disneyland Resort. They can deliver your stroller to the airport or your hotel room upon arrival!

You'll also want to keep in mind that strollers must be folded before boarding a bus or tram from either of the Disneyland Resort theme park parking lots or structures

Last, but certainly not least, I recommend getting familiar with the Baby Care Centers. These Centers are the perfect spot to change, nurse, or feed your baby. There are even vending machines dispensing diapers, wipes, formula, and other baby necessities. You can find the Disneyland Park location at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and the Disney California Adventure Park location on Pacific Wharf.

Wishing you and your family a pixie-dusted vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth!
