Hey there, hi there, Sarah! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I am so excited to see you here! That means that you have a magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth just around the riverbend. How exciting! The summer has become one of my favorite times to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. I love using the heat as the practically perfect excuse to take a midday poolside cocktail break at my Disney Resort Hotel. Relaxation mode: activated! Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your countdown to the magic!
I think you will be happy to hear that you can absolutely
bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages into the theme parks. As long as the food doesn't require refrigeration or re-heating, you are allowed to bring in outside food for a little theme park picnic. Just be sure not to bring in any glass containers. I recommend reviewing the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules when you get a chance, especially the "Prohibited Items" section. It's super helpful to know what you can and cannot bring into the theme parks.
We
always pack some snacks and refillable water bottles in our park bag. You just never know when hunger will strike, and trust me, it is definitely less-than-magical to have a "hangry" kiddo. Did you know that you can get complimentary ice water from any of the quick-service dining locations to refill your water bottles? That's our favorite budget-friendly way to stay hydrated in the Florida summer sun.
I hope this was helpful, Sarah, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable holiday! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
