Welcome to planDisney, Katie. It's such a joy to share the magic of Disney with the littlest Mouseketeers. Our youngest was six months on their first visit. She may not remember many magical moments, but I know those core memories will stay with me forever.
Although portable highchairs are not on the
prohibited items list, I would suggest that it measures within the bag size restrictions at Walt Disney World. Should you wish to leave your highchair behind, please know clean highchairs are widely available at every dining spot I've visited at Walt Disney World. Indeed, one of my many favorite things about Walt Disney World is that you can access first-class dining experiences that are super welcoming to little ones. Our entire party, from the young to the youngest at heart, has always enjoyed a truly magical experience at The Crystal Palace - the food is delicious, and the character interaction with Winnie and his friends is priceless.
The
Baby Care Centers in each of the Parks are a little-one oasis. The one in
Magic Kingdom Park is particularly pretty and welcoming. If you or your Mouseketeer need some time out, I highly recommend heading to these. The Baby Care Centers have multiple changing stations with lots of space, and a separate area typically offers different high chair options with a Disney movie playing for entertainment.
I'm sure your little one will be mesmerized by the magical sights and sounds of Walt Disney World. If you're ready to get back into the thrill of things,
Rider Switch means that no one has to miss out. Make sure you take all the pictures and soak in the memories; I can not tell you how much my kiddos seem to grow and change with each trip.
Have a magical time, Katie! I would love to help with any other questions you may have, Louise.
