Am I allowed to take a metal pop can/energy drink can into the park if it remains unopened until I get inside?

Hey there, Leah! Welcome back to planDisney!

It looks like your visit to the Vacation Kingdom of the World is just a few weeks away. How exciting! With 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and so much more to see and do, you’ll be immersed in a world of magic before you know it.

It’s always important ot be hydrated and energized for your Walt Disney World adventure. You are absolutely allowed to bring your own food and drinks into the Walt Disney World theme park, and I don’t see anything in the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules (which you can find here) about aluminum or metal cans. So you should be good to go!  Keep in mind, the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules do prohibit glass containers (except baby food jars), and coolers cannot be larger than 24 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 18 inches high.

You’ll be visiting during such a fun time of year.. As you put the finishing touches on your vacation itinerary, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for updates and news on all things Disney Parks. I especially love the Foodie Guides, like this one for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.

I hope this info is helpful, Leah. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
