Are we allowed to take leftovers from a table service restaurants that have prix fixe menu?

Hi there Ruffalee, and welcome to planDisney!

While I absolutely love enjoying the vast variety of food options across Walt Disney World Resort on each visit, there definitely comes a point where you just want to pack it all up when you can't quite pack it in anymore. (I've definitely had my share of moments where I've politely requested my meal to be packaged up and turned it into some incredible in-room snacking late at night after a long day at the Theme Parks!)

You'll be happy to hear that it is indeed currently possible to request leftover remnants from your meal to be packaged for you to take, even at restaurants and dining locations that may be serving a prix fixe menu. For example, I've eaten at Be Our Guest Restaurant several times recently which currently serves prix fixe offerings for lunch and dinner; on each occasion the friendly Cast Members on the server team offered to pack up our leftovers. Once at Trattoria al Forno we were so delighted by our bread and pastry service at their previously available prix fixe Bon Voyage Breakfast that they not only packed up the little that remained, but we discovered we had an entire box waiting for us as an extra bit of magic made that morning!

It's important to note that policies and offerings may always be subject to change without prior notice and may be at the discretion of the management team, so it's always a good idea to politely confirm with your server at whichever restaurant that you may be dining at just in case. Certain dining locations within EPCOT like Space 220 Restaurant, Monsieur Paul and Teppan Edo are currently run by third-party operators and are subject to their own policies, and there's never any guarantee that every dining location will have to-go containers readily available! I hope this helped Ruffalee, be sure to come back to planDisney again for any more answers ahead of your upcoming Disney adventure!

I wish you Bon Appetit with your future Takeaway treats!
