Hi there, Krystal, and welcome to planDisney!
Your upcoming visit will be here very soon and I am more than happy to share my thoughts with you. A December visit will be nothing short of magical (and maybe a bit chilly). But most of all, the holiday spirit will be all around you.
I have great news ahead for you, Krystal. You are more than welcome to leave a theme park and then return later. As a matter of fact, so many families, including my own, love taking midday breaks to charge up before a late night at the parks. Regardless if you’re hopping over to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, hanging out at
Disney Springs, or going somewhere off-property, simply return to the theme parks using the same method you did earlier in the day and you can finish your adventure.
The only thing stopping a return on the same day is if the particular theme park has reached its maximum capacity (the My Disney Experience App will show a message if this happens). Around the holiday season, this tends to happen more frequently. Plan on returning before late afternoon to be on the safer side.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you are driving, when you return to the theme parks parking lot, show the parking attendant your parking receipt and you’ll be able to enter the lot again without paying more than once. The same goes for if you have a ticket with a
Park Hopper Option and you want to drive and park hop to another theme park.
Krystal, I hope that you have a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I have a feeling that it will be full of happy core memories. If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, feel free to
ask us here at planDisney.Magic always,
LeAndra
