Hiya Jessica,
Welcome to planDisney! Nothing is more magical than sailing across the sky on the
Disney Skyliner. My two-year-old could’ve ridden it all day during our last trip and probably loved it more than any one attraction during our visit. She isn’t alone, though; being able to ride the Skyliner is one of the biggest perks of staying at
Art of Animation, Riviera Resort, Pop Century, and Caribbean Beach Resort.
Jessica, in general, parking at Art of Animation (and all resort hotels) is limited to overnight Guests and Guests who have confirmed dining reservations at the resort. However, depending on how busy the resort is, a Cast Member I spoke to confirmed that you may be able to request a day pass that would allow your Guests to visit you for the day. When you check in, notify a Cast Member at the front desk that you would like to request a day pass if they can accommodate that. If they can, they will notify the parking attendant and your friends/family will be able to park at Art of Animation for the day. I want to remind you that there are no guarantees that this can be accommodated, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
I hope this was helpful, Jessica. If you are not able to get a day pass for your Guests, they can still meet you at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios and ride the Skyliner back to your resort to grab lunch at
Landscape of Flavors. This would give them an opportunity to check out all that Art of Animation has to offer and take a little break from the theme parks with you. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
