Am I allowed to eat from the kids' menus, if I'm an adult? I'm autistic and have problems with food textures. It says "Kids' menu items for children ages 9 and younger." when I look at the menus on the website.

Hi Cathrine! Thanks for bringing your dining question to planDisney.

I've been known to select a kids' menu item for myself when it seems like the best option. While restaurants can have their own policies, I've found ordering a kid's meal for any Guest to be easy enough at many locations. Disneyland Resort is very accommodating!

I've got dining suggestions to help guide your decision-making. At Quick Service dining locations, anyone can order from the kids' menu, so that's a safe bet. Also, Character Dining is one of the best ways to interact with Characters, and the Character Dining buffets offer food tailored for kids, which can be enjoyed by the young and young at heart. We like Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel for breakfast; the kids' options are very yummy. While you're navigating the park, during your visit, you can use the Disneyland mobile app to access all the Table Service and Quick Service menus. Open the park map, select "Dining," and then click on the different locations, where you can select "View Menu" to see what options they offer.

Your trip coincides with Halloween at Disneyland Resort. Check out the Disney Park Blog and Disney Eats for updates on some of the festive treats that will be featured as your visit gets closer. A few spooky options might just appeal to you!
