I love that you are planning to spend time relaxing by the resort pool! This is often an overlooked, but much-needed, part of a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I find that one down day is needed for every two days of park visits!
The
Disney Resort Hotels and Disney Parks continue to utilize the wearing of masks as part of their
health and safety plan. In public spaces, including pool areas, masks must be worn by all Guests ages two and up except while Guests are swimming are actively eating or drinking while seated.
During our most recent visit, we stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The wearing of masks was enforced while we were on the pool deck. We ordered food (gotta have our Mickey Ice Cream Bars) and drinks from the pool bar and were allowed to remove our masks to eat and drink. The Cast Members were very friendly as they enforced mask-wearing rules around the pool.
Courtney, I hope you have a great visit this summer! Enjoy that (much needed) time relaxing by the pool!
