Are you allowed to carry a backpack in the parks?

    Hi Betty,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

You can carry a backpack in the Walt Disney World theme parks.  I almost always carry a backpack when I am at Walt Disney World.  I find a backpack to be very comfortable, and a good way to carry everything that I need for a day in a theme park.  My backpack is typically filled with items such as water and soda, ponchos in case of rain, and autograph books for character meetings.  Your backpack will be checked by security before you enter any Walt Disney World theme park.  Be sure that you are not carrying anything on the list of personal items that are not allowed at a Walt Disney World theme park, including alcohol or glass containers (except for baby food containers and perfume bottles).

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Betty!  Have a wonderful time planning your Walt Disney World vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
