Are allowed to take Brita filtered reusable (32oz) water bottles into WDW? Also, can we take plastic sandwich containers or should it be sandwich bags? I know nothing glass. Our lunch bag is 9"X10.24"X7.48" is this an acceptable size?

Hi Melissa! I'm sure you must be so excited knowing your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a few short days away!

These are all excellent questions. You are allowed to bring all of the items you mentioned. For specific details, you can find more information by reviewing the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.

Below you will find a list of prohibited items specific to the questions you asked.

    Prohibited items include:

"Alcoholic beverages, except in the Disney resort hotels. Wine may be brought in to Disney Springs to be consumed at select table service restaurants only, corkage fees apply.

Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any Theme Park or Water Park. Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended."

I'm so glad you are planning to take a water bottle with you. They are definitely on our must have list when we head out for the day. You can request complimentary ice water at the Quick Service dining locations. Staying hydrated is so important and it sounds like you have this covered.

We typically take a backpack with us each day. It meets the specifications detailed above, but it's larger than your lunch bag. We also sometimes have plastic containers filled with small snacks so you are absolutely within the stated rules.

I hope this helps you with your planning Melissa.

Thank you so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
