Are you allowed to bring water bottles in to the park and packed lunches?

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel and bringing us your question.

It’s great to hear you’re planning for a vacation at Walt Disney World and thinking ahead of questions like yours.

My family and I often pack lunches to bring into the parks. Over the years I have enjoyed many a home-made PB&J sandwich while sitting at the shaded back tables on the Center Street side alley off Main Street. It’s one of our favorite spots to relax. We often bring our own bottled water or juices and teas as well, and we like to use refillable water containers. Another favorite packed lunch spot for us is Tom Sawyer Island where we pull up a rocking chair and enjoy our lunch while we watch the Liberty Belle float by on the Rivers of America.

Please keep in mind, Amanda, you will need to take your packed lunches through a bag check before entering the park. Be sure your packed lunches don’t contain any glass containers as those would be prohibited.

Enjoy your picnic lunches at Magic Kingdom Park, Amanda, and save room for a tasty treat!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
