What are we allowed to bring into the theme parks? Should my wife bring her purse to carry a phone and maybe some necessities for our daughter? I guess we don't need a wallet since everything is linked to our magic bands.

Hi Brian! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Less than two weeks until your Walt Disney World Resort visit... I know you are getting excited at this point! Thanks for bringing such a great question to us in preparation of your arrival.

I definitely recommend taking in a small bag for necessities like you suggested. My family actually brings a medium-sized backpack with us in the parks. Since we have two young kiddos, we find it is the easiest way to have access to essentials like phones, sunblock, snacks, a change of clothes and/or diapers, ponchos, etc. It's amazing how much you need with kids in tow, isn't it? My husband and I also keep our IDs with us, just in case we need them for something, like purchasing adult beverages.

Here is the park rule for prohibited bags: "Suitcases, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high." As long as your bag is smaller than that, you should be good to go!

Enjoy your spring vacation, Brian! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.
