Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,
Rebecca!
Thanks for stopping by with your question about strollers at Walt Disney World Resort. You most certainly may bring your child's stroller with you to the Disney theme parks. Depending on the age of your child, it's hard to imagine experiencing all the magic of Disney without his or her stroller. I have read that the average visitor to a Disney theme park walks approximately seven or eight miles in a typical day. Can you imagine how many steps that would be for a little one? That stroller will be a welcome place to rest in between attractions.
My son first visited Walt Disney World Resort when he was five years old. My husband and I debated relentlessly in the weeks leading up to our trip whether we should bring his umbrella stroller. My husband said he wouldn't need it. I, on the other hand, suspected he would. Even though our son wasn't using the stroller much in his everyday life, Walt Disney World Resort is no everyday experience. Ultimately, we were so glad to have the stroller in the airport, at our home resort and in the theme parks. An exhausted five-year-old is too heavy to carry at the end of a long, exhilarating day in the parks. So, yes, bring that stroller.
Of course, if you'd rather
rent a stroller inside the theme parks, Disney has you covered. Single and double strollers are available to rent just inside the theme parks gates. You can even purchase a length of stay rental, if you like. Feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your upcoming vacation. We'd love to help!
Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
Jill
