Hey there, Bobbie! You have come to the right place to have all of your questions answered about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. It's right around the corner, I bet you are getting so excited!
Bobbie, you are allowed to bring a
soft-sided cooler into all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. The dimensions of your cooler cannot be any larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Loose ice is no longer permitted inside of the theme parks in your cooler, I recommend bringing reusable ice packs to keep your items cold during the day. In your cooler, you are allowed to pack food and non-alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy throughout the day at Walt Disney World. Just as a reminder though, glass containers and alcohol is not permitted. Also, you'll want to keep in mind when packing your cooler that there are no areas to reheat food brought into the theme parks. You'll want to bring foods that can be eaten cold or at room temperature only.
Stroller regulations have changed over the past few years and now strollers must only be 31" wide x 52" long or smaller. The good news is a lot of strollers, including double strollers like yours, do fit these new dimensions. Also, at this time, for the safety and enjoyment of all Guests, stroller wagons of any size are no longer permitted in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. However, if you don't want to worry about bringing your own stroller to Walt Disney World, I actually really like and recommend
renting the strollers available at the theme parks. The strollers are made of a hard plastic material that can be easily wiped out with spills and my daughter, when she was smaller, always seemed to find them pretty comfortable. Stroller rentals are $15.00 each day or you can do a length of stay rental which reduces the per-day cost down to $13.00 a day. If you do a length of stay rental, all you need to do is save your receipt and show a Cast Member working the stroller area each morning and you'll be good to go. It is really convenient and a speedy process after the initial purchase.
Right now, to help promote physical distancing, most quick-service dining locations are only using the
Mobile Order feature on the MyDisneyExperience app. To pay using Mobile Ordering you must use a debit/credit card or a Disney gift card that you can link to your account. If you have cash that you'd like to use for quick service meals, I recommend purchasing a Disney Gift Card ahead of time with that cash and then using that for payments while you are there. All table service restaurants and gift shop locations are still all accepting cash at this time, it's just locations that are only using the Mobile Ordering feature that you'll need to use another form of payment.
Bobbie, I hope this helps get you on the right track for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other questions before you go, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Have fun!
