Are you allowed to bring in small food items? Like sliced apples peanut butter and jelly as long as it’s not in a cooler ?

Hi Sarah! Welcome back to planDisney!

Your countdown has almost reached the end and your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is in sight! You must be so excited! Spring is already making its way to the Most Magical Place on Earth with the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival beginning in just a few days. I cannot wait to experience it all!

Not only are food items allowed in the theme parks, I highly recommend them! Nothing prevents a "hangry" meltdown like a backpack full of snacks that can be munched on throughout the day. They also come in handy if you have picky eaters in your family like I do. Unveiling a familiar snack can bring a lot of joy from a kiddo that doesn't like many foods!

There are a few items that you will want to avoid when bringing in food and drinks with you. Loose ice (ice contained in a water bottle or zipped bag is fine), glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), and alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought into the theme parks. You will also want to make sure that your backpack or bag is less than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Adhere to the Park Rules and you will be on your way to enjoying the magic with your snacks ready to go!

I hope you have the best visit, Sarah! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
