Are you allowed to bring a small cooler or thermos into the water park?

    Hello Joanna!

I can tell that you are planning a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation! I like to research if items are permitted in the parks of Walt Disney World. I have found a great resource: the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.

Yes, you can take a thermos and a small cooler into the theme parks of Walt Disney World as long as the thermos does not contain glass and the cooler has to be below a specific size. I have often used a soft-sided cooler on my Walt Disney World vacations to keep my food in, and frozen water bottles help keep the food cool on warm days. If you choose to bring a cooler into the Walt Disney World theme parks or water parks, it can't be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). Keep in mind that loose ice or dry ice in the cooler is not permitted, but you can have reusable ice packs in your cooler or frozen water bottles.

I hope that your upcoming Walt World vacation is incredible in every way!
