Are you allowed to bring a small cooler into Animal Kingdom for personal snacks and drinks? Also, does your food need to be in specific containers?

    Hello, Mindy,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You are welcome to bring a small cooler with food/drinks into the Animal Kingdom as well as into the other theme parks.  Please note that it cannot be larger than 24" long  x 15" wide x 18" high.  You can also utilize a Locker Rental if you'd like to store your cooler while at the park.   Park Rules do prohibit bringing glass (aside from baby food jars), alcoholic beverages, and/or food items that need to be heated up.  Also, plastic straws are not permitted at Disney's Animal Kingdom as they pose a risk to the animals.

Wishing you a magical day at Disney's Animal Kingdom!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
