Are we allowed to bring rum back from our stop in Jamaica? The alcohol rules sound like we can not. Is it secured away for us to retrieve on departure or how does this work? Thanks for any information on this.

    Ahoy Dwain –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are glad to see you busy planning a vacation with Disney Cruise Line, and a stop in Jamaica sounds so amazing! The alcohol policy listed online is mostly regarding beer and wine brought onto the ship.  For rum and other liquors, the answer is yes, you can purchase rum in Jamaica and bring it back on board.  Once you do, it will be stored for the entirety of your trip until you return back to your home port. At the time of debarkation, you will need to pick up your rum to take home and enjoy. There are no limits mentioned to how much can be brought onboard, however, U.S. customs may have a limit to the amount of liquor brought into the United States. Check to see how much rum you can bring back by visiting the website for U.S. Customs and Border Protection at www.cpb.gov. Dwain, I hope your crew has a great time cruising with Disney!
