What are we allowed to bring into the park and what containers are allowed?

Welcome to planDisney, Sandy! Thanks for bringing this great question our way.

To me, planning for every part of a trip to the Disneyland Resort feels exciting, even planning on what to pack. From the type of bag I wear (Loungefly, always) to the items I bring with me into the parks, I know that every choice is bringing me closer to my magical vacation! And when it comes to containers, the rules are simple – most importantly, don't bring glass containers into the parks. Additionally, if you like your drinks ice cold, it's important to know that loose or dry ice is also not permitted.

Sandy, I'd also suggest taking a little time to check out the Disneyland Resort Rules before you arrive! This list outlines the details of what's permitted in the parks, including rules on strollers, selfie sticks, and coolers. As a lifelong member of the rule follower club, I try to double-check all the items I plan on bringing to make sure that they meet the guidelines. This way, I can quickly and easily get into the parks without missing a minute of the magic!

Before you arrive, be sure to download and explore the Disneyland mobile app! This feels a little like holding your own magic wand in your hand, unlocking everything that the Disneyland Resort has to offer. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, access Disney Genie, and even mobile order food at select locations! And of course, if you have any other questions leading up to your trip, please write to us again. We're happy to help!

You've got a friend in me,
