Hiya Donna!
Welcome aboard! Your embarkation day is almost here, I'm so excited for you!
I have some great news for you! While there are
prohibited and restricted items on Disney Cruise Line, guests are welcome to bring soda (in bottles or cans) onboard. Just make sure everything is factory-sealed and that you bring them in your carry-on luggage (no stashing soda in your checked bags, that's just a recipe for disaster).
I do have two tips for you when it comes to carry-on luggage. First, your bags will go through the scanners easily if they're around 9" x 14" x 22" or less. Second, it's important to remember that your stateroom probably won't be ready as soon as you board. That means you'll be carrying around your precious cargo for a while, so you might not want to bring too much soda with you. Choose wisely!
The good news is that soda is readily available on the ships and is usually included in your cruise fare. Drinks from the filling station on the pool deck, sodas you order at dinner, and the soda station at the buffet are all included! I like to bring an insulated cup to keep my soda nice and cool by the pool. You'll only be charged for soda if you order through
room service (most room service items are included in your fare, but soda is one of the exceptions), at the concessions counter near the theater, or in a bar or lounge.
I know your cruise is just over the horizon, Donna, but if you have more questions I hope you'll come visit us again! Have a fabulous voyage!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
