Are you allowed to bring in out our own water bottles(the metal ones)

    Hi Karla,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your vacation is sooo close now!

Staying hydrated at Walt Disney World is extremely important, and you are welcome -- and encouraged -- to bring your own bottles into the theme parks to make it easier to have water at hand at all times. Plastic and metal bottles are just fine. Glass containers are among items prohibited in the parks.

My current favorite water bottle for the parks is a metal Swell model I purchased at the most recent Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. It's adorable, light and functional.

You will find water fountains throughout the parks, often near the entrance to the restrooms. Walt Disney World also is adding water bottle filling stations with filtered water in a number of locations, including some ride queues. And you can always ask for a free cup of ice water from any quick service dining location.

Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions, Karla. Wishing you a magical visit!
