Hey there, Priscilla! I am thrilled you surfed back by planDisney as you prepare for another vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
With a trip to
Walt Disney World in June, a water bottle is as important as sunscreen. While you can get cups of water at the
Quick Service restaurants, staying hydrated in the Florida sun is a perpetual endeavor. Luckily, water bottles, including Stanley cups, are allowed.
To keep the water flowing, refill stations are available throughout the theme parks. You can locate them using the
My Disney Experience app by selecting the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen and searching for "Water Bottle Refill Stations." You can choose for the app to show you where they are on the map or guide you to one with walking directions. You can also stop by a quick-serve restaurant and ask for ice water if you need a few more cubes to keep your drink chilled.
One tip: As you go through security, take your water bottle out of your bag and hold it away from your body. This can help Cast Members quickly identify what may be showing on their screen as an item to check. I can't guarantee it will prevent security from needing to do a further inspection for you to enter the parks, but this has helped me walk right through many times.
If you are staying within the
Disney Resorts Collection or another participating hotel, you can also start your vacation with a splash! With the
water park benefit, you can visit
Typhoon Lagoon or
Blizzard Beach on your arrival day, a perk included with your resort reservation.
Priscilla, I hope you stay cool and enjoy your day in the magic! If we can help with any other questions, please come see us again at
planDisney.
