Am I allowed to bring my own food and water into the park??? If so how much am I allowed?

    Hi Keith!

Thanks for coming to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As the mom to two little boys, one of my best tricks to making sure we have good theme park days is making sure my little one's tummies never get hungry! Theme park days take a lot of energy from everyone, so I definitely like to make sure my little one's get plenty of snacks so no one gets "hangry". Plus, since the Florida heat can be very intense, it's very important to keep everyone hydrated.

Guests are welcome to bring food and drinks with them into the theme park. Keep in mind that you can't bring glass bottles or containers with you and you also cannot bring any alcohol into the theme parks with you. You are free to bring whatever types of food or beverages as you like, keeping in mind that your backpack or cooler cannot be larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. If you don't want to carry your backpack or cooler all day, you can rent a locker in the theme park to help keep your hands free! I always bring snacks with me in my theme park bag, as well as refillable water bottles for my kids, which we fill throughout the day with complimentary ice water from any of the quick service dining locations.

You can check out the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules for a complete list of restricted personal items to help you continue planning. If you have any other questions, come back to see us! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
