Hey there, hi there, Vicky! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!
In just
days, you'll be embarking on your magical adventure at
Disneyland Resort. How exciting! I can't imagine a better way to celebrate a birthday than a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth during the
Disney100 Celebration, and I'm thrilled to help you squeeze every drop of pixie dust out of your cousin's
birthday celebration!
While you can bring
outside food and non-alcoholic beverages into the theme parks at Disneyland Resort for self-consumption, they cannot be in glass containers, require refrigeration or heating, or have pungent odors. However, I just spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that, unfortunately, birthday cakes are not allowed in the theme parks.
If you decide to bring in some celebratory goodies instead of a cake, you can kick your feet up and enjoy them at one of the complimentary
picnic areas. Just be sure to let the Security Cast Member know that you have food with you, and remember that outside food and drinks cannot be brought into the restaurants.
I think you will be happy to hear that
special dietary needs, including allergies, can be accommodated at most table-service restaurants and even select quick-service restaurants at Disneyland Resort. When you arrive at the restaurant, just talk to a Cast Member about your cousin's allergies, and you will be able to speak with the chef or special-diets-trained Cast Member about your
Special Dietary Needs and Requests. I am sure the chef will be able to wave their magic wand to create the most magical birthday dessert.
I hope this helps, and I hope your cousin has the BEST. DAY. EVER! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
