Am I allowed to bring in my lightsaber into any park. To clarify, I made a saber at savi’s workshop, if I were to go to a park (animal, magic, Epcot, mgm) with just the saber hilt (no blade) would I be stopped and told I can’t bring it into the park?

    Bright Suns, Eli!

I’m thrilled to hear that you found the secret location of Savi’s Workshop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and I trust you’re treating your saber with the respect and honor it deserves after that magical ceremony. I'm so glad you desire to carry this “elegant weapon for a more civilized age” into other theme parks around the Walt Disney World Resort. The hilt on your hip not only completes a traveler’s ensemble but is a dire warning to any spies for the First Order who may be lurking about. You just never know what you may encounter once you travel off planet, so best to be prepared.

I understand wanting to plan your journey off Batuu and explore other lands such as Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT. It sounds like you have a bad feeling about this... but your concern about their security droids finding your saber and confiscating it can be put to rest.

If you follow the Property Rules and heed the Prohibited Items list, you may bring both the lightsaber hilt and the blade into other Disney theme parks. While true weapons are most certainly prohibited, this indicates the kind of Earthly item that could harm another human and your lightsaber is not of that world.

While you may bring the full lightsaber into the theme parks, please know you’ll be asked to stow it away safely to enjoy any attractions so your plan to just bring the hilt is a good one.

Please send any other questions to planDisney with an incoming transmission, Eli. We’re here to help at this secret Rebel base with authentic advice.

May the Force be with you,
