Hey James!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The
Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite places for celebrations! I have spent my fair share of anniversaries with my wife at the parks! You’re already on the right track to make your wife’s day extra special!
It sounds like capturing the Disney magic is just as important to you as it is to me. When I head to the parks, I bring a lot of gear which includes a collapsible tripod and gimbal that fit inside of a backpack. At this time a gimbal is welcome into the parks and not on the
list of prohibited items. I would double check before you go as the
list can change at any time. Also, as you already mentioned, bringing professional gear into the parks is solely allowed for personal use only. A rule I use for myself is that I make sure I’m not interfering with the enjoyment of other guests in the park and that the photos or video I’m taking is in a way that is typical of what other guests would do.
If you need some ideas to make your wedding anniversary extra special, I would recommend a dining reservation at
Steakhouse 55 or
Napa Rose. They're both the perfect upscale setting with some of the best food on property. If you’re staying at one of the hotels at the Disneyland Resort, I would consider an
in room celebration that is sure to make your wife the happiest girl on earth!
Well James, I hope your anniversary at the Disneyland Resort is filled with fun, love, and laughter. No matter how you celebrate, rest assured that spending the day with your wife will be all the magic you’ll ever need.
Remember, always believe in the magic!
