Hi there, Joshua!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to
Walt Disney World Resort NEXT MONTH!!! How exciting! I know that anytime the 30-day countdown mark hits for my household, it’s pretty much the only thing we can think or talk about! In fact, we have recently had to only start countdowns at the 30-day mark because this mama was getting tired of the “how many days is that…” – type questions from my littles!
You can certainly bring a float for your infant to use in the
Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools, and I highly recommend it! While all Walt Disney Resort hotel pools offer complimentary lifejackets for Guests to use, they may not have one that fits your little Mouseketeer. So, having something that puts your little one – and most importantly, YOU! – at ease is very important. When my boys were younger, we would always travel with their beloved puddle jumpers because they were most comfortable in those, making the experience much more enjoyable for all of us! But, even know that they are older and can be considered “swimmers”, we still encourage the use of the onsite lifejackets, which they will often still use without a fuss!
One of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort hotels are the pools! I love how the theme of the hotel is carried out into the pool, making it that much more fun and exciting for all! Be sure to check to see if there are any poolside activities or entertainment being held during your stay; we always hope for poolside movies or trivia games!
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation!
Just Keep Swimming,
Stephanie
