What am I allowed to bring as in food and water to the park?

Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! We are so glad you stopped by with your planning question. Welcome to planDisney!

Oh my! I am so excited to see that you are on your way to the parks so very soon! I am happy to share that you can bring in water, food, and snacks. I've been visiting the parks from the time that my kids were little, and now that they are much older and I will always at least pack a few snacks on our visits. There are a few prohibited items from the Park Rules and Regulations, including glass containers, alcohol, and dry or loose ice if you are bringing in a cooler. Be sure to check the rules out before just to make sure everything will get through security without issue. As far as water, there are refillable water stations throughout the park. You can find locations in the Disneyland app by searching "Bottle-filling stations" and tapping on the "Find on Map" on that page. You can also ask for water at any quick service location.

I do love a budget-friendly trip, but it wouldn't be a Disneyland visit without some Disney snacks! Be sure to check out the Foodie Guide to see all the limited-time items throughout the resort for the 70th Celebration.

Stephanie, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
