Are you allowed to bring floaty’s in the big blue pool?

Hello there, Rochelle. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am excited to see that you are going to be staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. It's such a fun resort. Be sure to have your camera at the ready because there are so many cute photo spots.

The Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is actually the largest resort pool at any of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. This zero-entry pool contains over 308,527 gallons of water and I just know you are going to have a splish-splashin' good time. I think you'll be happy to know that you are allowed to bring water wings, pool noodles and small floaties that can provide assistance to not so strong swimmers into the pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Rafts and inner tubes for lounging purposes are, however, not allowed. Complimentary lifejackets are also provided at every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel pool and come in a variety of sizes. I always thought the life jackets were a great benefit because I didn't have to pack anything extra in my suitcase saving some room for all those souvenirs I wanted to bring home.

While you are at the Big Blue Pool, The Drop Off Pool Bar is a great spot to grab an adult beverage or a quick snack to tide you over! There are some really great and unique drinks on their bar menu to enjoy. I hope this helps you know what to bring for your upcoming vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
