are you allowed to bring a droid back home? Like on an airplane

    Hi Helklee!

One of my family's favorite parts of Walt Disney World Resort vacation is visiting a galaxy far, far away at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. This incredible part of Disney's Hollywood Studios allows both Jedi Masters and Padawan Learners to create their own Star Wars journey. Whether you're a member of the First Order, a supporter of the Resistance or a scoundrel who's just looking to make a few credits... every detail of this incredible land has been perfectly crafted so Guests can experience life on Batuu.

Droid Depot is an awesome experience where you can build your own custom BB-series or R-series droid. My boys built droids in November and they had so much fun. Plus, they still play with their droids at home! Your droids can travel back to your home planet on an airplane, which is how we transported our newly acquired droids back to Colorado. We brought the boys' droids on the plane with us as carry-on items and found that they went easily through security and fit pretty well in the overhead bins.

Helklee, while you're visiting Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, be sure to try the wide variety of galactic food and beverages throughout the land. My boys love to visit the Milk Stand to get blue and green milk and it's a lot of fun to see which flavor is everyone's favorite. And don't forget to take advantage of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering when you visit the Milk Stand so you don't have to wait in its standby queue!

Let us know if you have additional questions. May the Force be with you!
