Are we allowed to bring drinks/snacks to enjoy while on a horse-drawn carriage ride at Port Orleans Riverside?

    Hi there, Bethany!

Welcome to planDisney. You must be so excited that your Walt Disney World adventure is almost here. I'd be delighted to address your question about carriage rides. Since your trip is just around the corner, let's get rolling!

I'm happy to share that you can bring food and beverages on the Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Please do not bring glass containers, and be sure to dispose of your trash at the end of the excursion.

I hope this is helpful. Before I go, I'll share a few tips for making the most of this unique activity.

*I just returned from Walt Disney World, and although daytime temps were high, after the sunset, my friends and I needed light jackets or sweatshirts. I recommend bringing something to stay warm in inclement or cooler weather.

*You'll need to check in 15 minutes before your reservation. Head to the Riverside Levee Marina at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Be sure to give yourselves ample travel time (at least an hour) if you're coming from another resort.

*If you arrive early, stop by River Roost for a drink or snack. Some specialty holiday beverages have arrived in time for the season!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Bethany. Best wishes for an incredible trip, and please reach out again if we can make future vacations even more magical.

    Happy holidays,
    Betsy
