Hello, Danna!
Less than two weeks until a magical Disneyland Resort visit? Well, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah! I'm so happy for you! To be honest with you, my preference is to take as little as possible with me on my visits to the Disneyland Resort. Bags and strollers must all be inspected at
security checkpoints. I like being free of such items so that I'm eligible to use the 'no-bag" line for security. (Note that the "no-bag" line is available only during select hours.) And it is so freeing to be able to tour the parks with minimal additional baggage.
But I totally understand needing to take more than what can fit in my pockets at times. When my family and I go to the Disneyland Resort theme parks, I often carry a backpack with a handful of items that we often find useful: ibuprofen,
fruit or other light snacks, bottles of water, and maybe a light sweater for cooler evenings. I often also take a
portable phone charging system. That's helpful for times that I may spend interacting with the
Play Disney Parks app. It's a great way to pass the time when waiting in lines. When our children were smaller, we also often took a small stroller with us to help keep little legs from tiring too fast.
Disneyland Resort Rules indicate a few items that are not allowed inside the theme parks or
Downtown Disney District. Among other things, these include alcohol, large coolers, loose ice, and glass, except small jars such as for baby food.
Thanks for the great question, Danna. Please stop by again if there's anything else we can help answer!
