Bonjour Daniel,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
From what I can see of the
Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules, selfie sticks, hand held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices, along with large tripods are specifically prohibited in all Theme Parks. If your camera is hand-held, it will likely be allowed in the parks, though please note that it may still be prohibited as an item that may be “harmful or disruptive” if it’s big or even once you’re in the Theme Park if your use is proving to be disruptive to your fellow Guests.
As for using it on attractions, please remember that Walt Disney World is “
Wild About Safety” and that the key to a happy and safe vacation is to make sure that safety starts with you! I would actually recommend that you ask the Cast Member located at the front of any attraction whether filming is allowed during your ride. For any fast or bumpy attractions, I’d recommend against it, but there are some, such as the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, where I’m sure there are some where you’ll be able to film your experience from beginning to end.
I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que v
ous pouvez également me poser des questions en français!
Have a Magical Day,
