Hi Shelby!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you'll be bringing your
Mouseketeer to meet Mickey and his pals! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is always special, but you'll never forget watching the magic come to life through the eyes of your child.
Wagons of all shapes, forms and kinds are sadly on the
prohibited list of items that are not allowed, which includes the newfangled stroller-wagon hybrids that are popping up all over. You might see one or two during your Disney Days as these are sometimes allowed in place of a wheelchair for those who need assistance in getting around. However, many owners of these fancy wagons have been turned away at security checks and made to return them to their vehicles or Disney Resort Hotel room, and I'd hate for that to happen to your family, Shelby. The good news is that most other strollers, including jogging strollers, are allowed as long as they are under 36" x 52".
Should you not want to deal with bringing your own stroller, Disney does have a really awesome
stroller rental program where you pick up a new stroller each time you visit a new Disney theme park and not have to worry about getting it from point A to point B with you.
Pro Tip: Have you looked into
Memory Maker yet? Once purchased, you'll be able to download all images (and even select on-ride videos!) captured by Disney's PhotoPass photographers. I love using Disney's PhotoPass stations because not only do the photographers know how to use their cameras, but also as a parent our whole family can be in all of the vacation photos.
We'll See You Real Soon, Shelby!
