Are you allowed to bring in a birthday cake from outside the property to eat while eating at a Disney restaurant?

    Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney.

Oh Boy! You are only three short days from your magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort celebrating its own birthday. Be on the lookout for 50th Anniversary Celebration Merchandise available throughout the parks, resorts, and shops at Disney Springs. I adore the retro vibe of the Vault Collection. You can always find a great selection of this collection at Marketplace Co-Op located in Disney Springs.

I am happy to report that I have verified with a friendly Cast Member over chat you are welcome to bring a birthday cake to Disney restaurants. Please notify the host at the podium so your server will know to bring extra utensils for the celebratory cutting of the cake. Alternatively, you can always call (407) 939-3463 to order a birthday cake from your restaurant. This option eliminates you having to pick up a cake and carry it to your dining reservation.

Here is a fun and free birthday tip. At the theme parks stop by Guest Relations or the front desk of any Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a complimentary celebration button. You can personalize it and wear it with pride all around Walt Disney World Resort. Often times extra magic will be bestowed upon its owner. But I guarantee, many birthday wishes will be extended from Cast Members and Guests alike.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
